Vineyard acreage : 135 acres (55 hectares).

Soil : Garonne's gravel and fine silt.

Average vineyard age : 22 years.

Exists in Red, White, Sweet White and Clairet.

Château Tanesse Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux Red

Grape variety : 49 % Merlot / 38 % Cabernet Sauvignon / 11 % Cabernet Franc / 2 % Petit Verdot.

Winemaking : Traditional winemaking method. Before filling vats, the harvest is detemmed. Long macerations under strict temperature control.

Ageing : 12 months in barrels (1/3 new oak barrels, 1/3 1 year old oak barrels, 1/3 2 year old oak barrels).

Tasting notes : Superb bourquet rich with very ripe fruit, with a nice wooded area. Tasty mouth, rich, dense, with beautiful fruit, beautiful tannins and a long, balanced finish.

Château Tanesse Bordeaux White

Grape variety : 50% Sémillon / 50% Sauvignon.

Winemaking : The grapes are pressed after a few hours of maceration. Fermentation based on selected yeasts is controlled low temperature for 8-10 days depending on the vintage.

Ageing : 25% fermented and aged in oak barrels for 6 months, 75% aged in tanks, then blend

Tasting notes : Pretty bright reflections animate its straw-yellow color. Very fruity nose shows aromas especially fishing and exotic fruits. Vivacity is soothed by a soft, caressing finish.

Château Tanesse Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux Sweet White

Grape variety : 20 % Sauvignon / 80 % Sémillon.

Winemaking : Wine obtained from the "noble rot". Late harvest by successive tries of noble grapes, a wine in new French oak barrels.

Ageing : Fermentation and aging in new French oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting notes : A dress with gold and topaz yellow hues, this wine is rich and persistent; his mouth is round, smooth and marvel if an aperitif, it is also a perfect match with chocolate desserts.

Château Tanesse Bordeaux Rosé

Grape variety : 49% Merlot / 40% Cabernet Sauvignon / 11% Cabernet Franc.

Winemaking : After 72 hours of maceration of red grapes, part of the mash is removed : bleeding. Fermentation continues with selected under strict temperature control yeasts.

Ageing : 3 months in tank.

Tasting notes : The clayey gravelly slopes are favorable for maturation and Merlot Cabernet that make up this slim and full rosy freshness, bouquet of red berries (redcurrant, strawberry) shaded with floral notes of peony.
